This large full bodied cow weathervane, from the last quarter of the 19th century, has a copper body with a zinc head. The cow has an old white surface and is in as found, off of the barn roof condition. The weathervane was on the barn of the Helfrich Springs Farm located in Whitehall, PA and a photograph of the barn is included with the weathervane photographs. There are several bullet holes and some dents to the body; there has been no restoration to weathervane. The new iron stand is included. W: 36”, D: 10”, H: 20.5”.
