This is a very nice walnut Lancaster County single door cupboard from the first half of the 19th century. The cupboard is in a very old, if not original finish with use and wear. Walnut single door cupboards are fairly rare as the majority of cupboards are made of softwood and were originally painted. The cupboard is in good condition, however the lock is missing, there is an 1/2" by 6" piece missing from the back of one rear foot, and there is some no longer active powder post beetle holes in the back boards.
