Federal Inlaid Card Table Attributed to William Lloyd

This fine Mahogany inlaid card table is attributed to William Lloyd (1779 - 1845) of Springfield, MA. The table has a flat front with ovolo corners over a conforming apron with fine inlay on the bottom edge and a central urn with flowers. The top of the four legs have ornately inlaid urns with string inlay down the legs and intricately inlaid cuffs. The central inlaid urn, the intricate inlay patterns on the skirt, and maple secondary wood on the swing leg are characteristic of the work of William Lloyd. Circa 1800. W: 36", D: 17.5", H: 30.5".
