This is a very early sewing roll up from the first half of the 19th century. The rollup is made of polished cotton, homespun linen, and silk. The rollup has six sections for storage of sewing supplies and was found in Lancaster County PA. The brown section on the top has some deterioration to the fabric and the silk binding stitched along the top of each section is worn. W: 3.75", H: 19".
