This is a vibrantly decorated Pennsylvania Sheraton blanket chest made around 1840. The pine and poplar chest has a yellow background with polka dot and brushed deep red decoration. The paint on the chest is in excellent, original condition. There is a small patch on the back of the chest below each of the hinges. W: 30.75", D: 16.75", H: 18.5".
