Crandall's Lively Horseman Pull Toy

This all wood pull toy was made by Charles Crandall, a toy inventor who had factories in both Pennsylvania and New York. He started producing toys around 1866 and this toy has patent dates from February 5th, 1867 to October 11th, 1875. The toy would be pulled along the floor and the wheels would cause the horse to move up and down and the clown would move in unison. The horse is missing part of the tail and the tip of one of the clown's feet is missing.  W: 10.5", D: 4", H: 18".
