This pine painted sign from the Concordia Singing Society was found in Lancaster City on 132 North Water Street. There is a note on the back of the sign relating to its discovery. The Concordia Singing society was formed during World War 1 to promote German culture and customs through music, song, and dance. The sign is in an early second coat of paint and there are some cracks in the wood. W: 19.5", H: 28".
